In developing countries, sickness is one of the most frequent causes of poverty We are aware that Reforms in Healthcare Financing are very much needed in addition to other reforms in the health sector. Health risks are among the major life risks which can be tackled by Social Health Protection schemes like Sehat Sahulat Programme. In settings like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with multiple challenges, development of such Social Health Protection Schemes is likely to bring drastic improvement in the system. Such scheme would help government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to develop and maintain well-targeted system of health care financing to serve people who would not be able to pay for healthcare expenditures. Around 1,800,000 households being enrolled under the scheme who would be provided with Sehat Insaf Cards. Every Card holder Household would be entitled for free inpatient medical care up to R. 540,000 per year...
